We not only consider effective QHSE management (quality, health, safety and the environment) to be a key part of our corporate responsibility but also a sign of the quality of our work that we can use to meet our customers’ complex requirements. XERVON, therefore, has QHSE standards that go beyond the norm – standards that we are continuously further developing and cementing with a whole host of initiatives.
We use a wide range of options to both maintain and drive forward the high levels of QHSE at our company. It is our mission to make the very most of the potential available to us. This ranges from management systems, to training courses and information campaigns, all the way through to measures and routines to increase QHSE levels in our operations. This also includes carrying out intensive development work to further improve the safety of our machines, equipment and processes.
XERVON is regularly presented with safety awards by its prestigious customers. Clear proof of just how successful our QHSE measures are in our everyday business
Our QHSE organisation is based on our integrated management system that has been set up in accordance with international standards. It covers all operational processes as well as all related control and supporting processes. Statutory regulations are taken into account as are technical rules, customer requirements and internal guidelines. Regular in-house audits and external accreditations ensure that the standards drawn up for our processes are met at all times.
Numerous XERVON employees are involved in the external audits at our company every year. Internal audits are also carried out in addition to these
Our accreditations underline the efficacy of our QHSE management system and provide reliable criteria for assessing the quality of our work
Safety is our no. 1 priority. We have put together our multi-lingual SaferTogether campaign to ensure this mission is put into practice and supported by everyone. Regular evaluations are carried out to check the efficacy of this initiative, which uses a number of tools including printed products (such as posters and flyers) and digital solutions. The information is available, for example, via QR codes so that operatives can access it with their smartphone when they don’t have a computer to hand.
Our SaferTogether campaign encourages employees to act in a more safety-conscious way at work and is targeted at both operatives and managers
We use our own training system – a combination of in-person and e-learning courses – to teach our employees about QHSE and ensure they have the skills they need to do their jobs. This includes courses on how to handle the various types of technology correctly as well as seminars to gain safety-related qualifications. The specially qualified service technicians at our company workshops make sure that the safety equipment used by our teams is always fit for purpose.
